Impact & MRV Verification

Every Kilogram Documented.
Every Report Auditable.

GreenAiriva's measurement approach is designed from day one for third-party verification — not added after the fact to satisfy a reporting requirement. What we measure, we can prove.

Why High-GWP Gases Matter

273× More warming impact than CO₂ — per kilogram of N₂O.

This is why targeting high-GWP gases is not just a strategy — it's the most efficient path to documented CO₂e reduction at scale. Every kilogram captured produces exponentially more climate value than CO₂ capture at the same mass.

F-gases reach 1,000 to 23,000 times the warming impact of CO₂. GreenAiriva's MRV system documents this impact in mass-based, auditable terms.

★ GreenAiriva selectively captures N₂O and fluorinated gases. CO₂e contribution from energy substitution — via energy-positive operation displacing grid electricity — is documented as a separate, additive line item. No CO₂ or CH₄ direct capture is claimed.

How MRV Works at GreenAiriva

Four stages — from unit-level data capture to framework-ready reporting. No black boxes.

01

Continuous Measurement

Real-time data capture at unit level. Results are mass-based — not modelled, estimated, or extrapolated from reference conditions. Each unit is its own measurement source.

02

Data Aggregation

Periodic reporting intervals with unit-level granularity preserved throughout. Chain of custody is maintained — every data point traceable to its source unit and timestamp.

03

Independent Verification

Methodology is designed for third-party audit access. No proprietary black boxes. An external verifier can review the measurement chain, data aggregation, and output calculation independently.

04

Framework Integration

Outputs are structured for direct use in ESG disclosure, CBAM documentation, and municipal climate plan reporting — no additional data translation or manual re-formatting required.

The Measurement Distinction

Modelled vs Measured: Why It Matters to Your Auditor.

Most emission reduction claims rely on models — assumptions about what a technology should achieve under defined conditions. Models are useful for projections but increasingly inadequate for compliance reporting, where regulators and auditors want to see what actually happened.

GreenAiriva reports what was actually captured — in mass, per unit, per interval. For high-GWP gases like nitrous oxide (N₂O, GWP ≈ 273) and fluorinated compounds (GWP reaching several thousand), mass-based verification is especially critical: a small variance in reported mass translates into a large variance in declared CO₂e. That distinction is becoming the dividing line in CBAM declarations, TSRS-ESG audits, and municipal climate account reviews.

Modelled Approach
  • Based on assumed reference conditions
  • Cannot account for real-world variability
  • Difficult to third-party audit
  • Increasingly rejected in CBAM and ESG contexts
Mass-Based Measurement
  • Reflects what actually occurred
  • Unit-level, timestamped, traceable
  • Full third-party audit access
  • Directly integrable with compliance frameworks

Framework Alignment

How GreenAiriva MRV data maps to the frameworks your organisation already reports against.

TSRS-ESG

Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards

GreenAiriva MRV outputs provide the documented, attributable emission reduction data required for Scope 3 disclosures and corporate climate contribution reporting under mandatory TSRS-ESG standards.

Auditable · Attributable · Disclosure-ready
CBAM

Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism

CBAM declarations require documented evidence of emission reduction activity — not offset certificates. GreenAiriva's mass-based data, traceable to specific units and intervals, supports declaration requirements for industrial exporters.

Mass-based · Location-specific · Declaration-compatible
Net Zero 2053

Turkey National Climate Target

Municipal and industrial actors operating within Turkey's national climate framework need documented, attributed reductions. GreenAiriva data is structured for integration with national inventory-level reporting methodologies.

National alignment · Attributable · Verifiable
Municipal CAP

Local Climate Action Plans

Municipal climate accounts require localised, street-level reduction data — not regional or national averages. GreenAiriva provides unit-level attribution to specific locations, directly feeding municipal climate plan reporting cycles.

Location-specific · Street-level · Plan-integrable

Carbon & ESG Value

High-Quality, Auditable Reduction — the Standard That Matters.

Carbon credits and ESG reporting are only as valuable as the data behind them. Markets and regulators are tightening their standards — moving away from modelled projections toward mass-based, location-specific, third-party-auditable evidence.

GreenAiriva's N₂O and F-gas capture data is structured to meet this rising bar. The high GWP of these gases means each kilogram captured translates into a high CO₂e credit value — documented, attributed, and ready for independent verification.

Discuss Your Use Case →
N₂O Capture

273 kg CO₂e per 1 kg captured

High GWP means high credit value — every documented kilogram contributes significantly to CO₂e accounting.

F-Gas Capture

Up to 23,000 kg CO₂e per 1 kg

Fluorinated gas GWPs reach several thousand — among the highest-value reduction assets per unit mass.

ESG Disclosure

Scope 3 contribution — auditable

Data structured for TSRS-ESG mandatory disclosure. Third-party verifiable, no re-formatting required.

CBAM

Declaration-compatible data

Location-specific, mass-based — meets the documentation standard regulators are moving toward.

GWP values: IPCC AR6, 100-year. No carbon credit revenue sharing terms disclosed. Partner details available under NDA.
